Mitsuko Ramos has been employed as a Governmental Relations/Project Manager at the firm since July, 2006. Mitsuko coordinates with local governmental officials, staff, and community/business stakeholders on matters that require approval by the City, County, State and/or other governmental entities. These issues include Special/Public Improvement Districts (“SID” or “PID”), Tax Increment Reinvestment Zones/Financing (“TIRZ” or “TIF”), Zoning, Variances, State Enterprise Zone Projects, Issuance of Tax Exempt Bonds, Tax Abatement Agreements, Lease Agreements, Service Agreements, Permits, Liquor Licenses, and Request for Proposals/Qualifications (“RFP/RFQ”).
Mitsuko received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 1999, during which time she served as Treasurer of the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. As a former Project Coordinator in the City Attorney’s Office for the City of San Antonio and City of Austin, Mitsuko has had extensive experience in handling various civil municipal matters. Mitsuko is a Certified Mediator, volunteering at the Bexar County Dispute Resolution Center, and has also been active in the community as Secretary of the District 9 Neighborhood Alliance and Community Relations Officer with the Hidden Forest Homeowner’s Association.
